Description
Anyone who rides the CONWAY "MS 9.9" quickly realises: The hardtail is a true all-rounder. Whether cross-country, on gravel roads or on playful trails - the all-round MTB feels right everywhere.
Responsible for this, in addition to the sporty-balanced riding style, is primarily the "Judy TK Solo Air" from ROCKSHOX with its 100 mm of travel. The bike is thus equipped for sporty use and doesn´t neglect comfort.
The 29er SCHWALBE tires "Rapid Rob" go over stones and roots with best rolling behaviour. The tire is 57 mm wide and the contact area of the profiled tires is also high, which explains the secure grip on gravel and forest roads.
With the 12-speed SRAM "NX Eagle" gears you pedal up long climbs and steep ramps - the wide range of the cassette with 11-51 teeth makes this possible. Also, the sprint to the finish on the after-work tour can be mastered with it. The drive also saves you a front derailleur and a shift lever, which makes for easy shifting.
In the downhill, the "MS 9.9" impresses with its suspension fork and grippy tires. The SHIMANO "BR-MT200" hydraulic disc brakes keep the bike under control. With a front 180 mm and rear 160 mm disc diameter, they offer decent reserves for sensitive distribution of braking, either on cross country or marathon courses.
