Description
New in the "Cairon" family from CONWAY is the "Cairon S 5.0". With a whopping 750 Wh battery and the sporty BOSCH "Performance CX" motor and SRAM "NX Eagle" derailleur, it is a wonderful addition to the portfolio. The frame of the e-hardtail is designed to completely accommodate the "PowerTube" battery in the down tube, giving the bike a tidy and clean appearance.
The "NX Eagle" groupset stands out as a performance driver at a fair price. In addition, it impresses with quiet and precise shifting with its 11-50 teeth. Thus, it is made for tours to the low mountain range and always ensures the right cadence even on steep climbs. The 29" wheels offer excellent rolling characteristics.
In addition, the bike scores with its stable straight-line stability, the 120mm travel of the ROCKSHOX "Recon Silver RL" air suspension fork and the 65mm wide "Johnny Watts" tires from SCHWALBE. SHIMANO hydraulic disc brakes provide superior deceleration on the "Cairon S 6.0". Their forces can be precisely dosed, but they also grab neatly, if it needs to. The disc diameter is 180mm front and rear.
Due to the overall low center of gravity, which is ensured by the placement of the motor and battery, it is possible to ride this E-MTB naturally and balanced. The battery has sufficient capacity available in any case. And if not - then it can be removed for charging either downwards from the frame, or you use the side charging socket, if the charging on the road during a break should go quickly and easily over the stage.
