A compact, powerful and versatile electric cargo bike designed for everyday transport.
The Tern HSD P5i is a compact electric cargo bike that delivers impressive carrying capacity in a highly manoeuvrable format. Its low centre of gravity and robust frame provide excellent stability and confident handling, even when carrying heavier loads.
The Bosch Performance Line motor delivers up to 75 Nm of torque and up to 340% assistance, providing smooth and powerful support for everyday riding. The Bosch PowerPack 545 Wh battery offers a range of up to 121 km, depending on terrain, load, riding conditions and assistance level.
The Shimano Nexus INTER-5E 5-speed internal hub provides smooth and intuitive gear changes. It is combined with a Gates Carbon Drive CDX belt, offering a clean, quiet and virtually maintenance-free drivetrain.
The Bosch Smart System allows the bike to connect to the Bosch eBike Flow app, providing features such as assistance customisation, over-the-air updates and eBike Lock.
With a rear rack capacity of up to 80 kg, the HSD P5i can be configured to carry a child, a medium-sized adult passenger or a substantial amount of cargo, depending on the selected accessories. The maximum gross vehicle weight is 190 kg.
The easily adjustable cockpit makes the bike suitable for riders approximately 1.50 to 1.95 m tall.
