The Tern HSD S00 is a compact electric bike that combines excellent manoeuvrability with an impressive carrying capacity. Its smart design makes it easy to ride in everyday urban environments while providing plenty of options for carrying groceries, luggage, children or even a medium-sized adult passenger with the appropriate accessories.
The powerful Bosch Performance motor delivers up to 75 Nm of torque and up to 340% assistance, providing smooth and natural support even when carrying heavier loads. The Bosch PowerPack 545 Wh battery offers a range of up to 121 km, depending on riding conditions, terrain, load and assistance level.
One of the key features of the HSD S00 is its Enviolo Heavy Duty continuously variable transmission. Combined with the Gates Carbon Drive CDX belt, it provides an exceptionally smooth, quiet and low-maintenance drivetrain. The continuously variable system makes it easy to adjust pedalling resistance without conventional fixed gears.
The Bosch Smart System adds advanced connectivity through the colour Kiox 300 display, Bosch eBike Flow app and Bosch ConnectModule security features, including alarm and GPS tracking depending on the selected services.
Comfort and safety are also major strengths. The HSD S00 features Magura MT4 hydraulic disc brakes, a 70 mm suspension fork, a Cane Creek Thudbuster G4 suspension seatpost and a powerful 700-lumen Ignis front light.
The rear rack can carry up to 80 kg, while the bike is tested for a maximum gross vehicle weight of 180 kg. The easily adjustable cockpit is suitable for riders approximately 1.50 to 1.95 m tall.
